Kitchen RewiringFridge and Freezer had always been inseparable, even though they weren't part of the same unit. They stood proudly side by side, sharing the heat they threw out. Their owners were rarely about, using them only for half eaten lunch items and souring milk. Entertainment came from their neighbours across the Tiles: opposite them, Dryer and Washing Machine occasionally locked in a battle. Fridge always thought they needn't argue so: Washing Machine was getting old, and one swift tumble from Dryer could dismantle the both of them.
There was some banging about in their room that night, and all the appliances slept badly. Worst of all perhaps Oven and Freezer, who were summoned to work at some ungodly hour. When Clock's hands read 6:30am, the last of the owners had departed. Thin tendrils of dawn-break sunshine crept through the porch windows, gently awakening the appliances.
Fridge nudged Freezer. "Hey! Wake up!" Freezer grumbled in response. Fridge nudged again. "Wake UP! We've got a new fr Dead SpaceGliding through lightless skies, Will sat idly in the cockpit of her Celescraft. Her AI crew were in the kitchen area refuelling; she didn’t have need for them just yet.  
Will grabbed another sugared almond, holding the pointed ends as she crunched the sugar as one might corn on a cob. Ahead, she spotted her target. As the lights on her craft probed the dilapidated ship, a gentle chill touched the back of Will’s neck.
“Terminus.” Will dropped the almond, grappling with the controls. She sidled her Celescraft up to the other ship, before wiggling herself into her purple pinstriped spacesuit.
A door flapped open to one side. Her sparkled torch roamed over a broken interior: as expected, Terminus had been subjected to a Raptor attack. They were rogues, hell-bent on acquiring any Stocks to sell for profit. Only one door remained unforced. Will fished out her Chamelokey, an invention of her own. Moulding itself to the lock, the door hissed aside. The same chill Moon HunterThe Moon was forged in fire and brimstone, although the humans would have you believe a meteor carved it out on impact from Earth. Indeed, it was a rouge watchmaker that, bored with her trade, decided to branch out into the practice of Interstellar Creation. Business had been slow of late, and in her spare time Will had been constructing an airship, a chimera of Nature’s finest elements translated into cogs and pistons.
She had wanted it to fly silently wherever she went, vacuum or no vacuum, but instead Will had opted for steam power and rippling sails. The craft was a simple egg-shaped design, with the panoramic cockpit in front of her tiny living quarters. The majority of the ship was occupied by the engine room, a sweaty tangle of machinery pumping power through funnels to propel the ship.
On the first tour, Will traversed the inky skies searching for inspiration. Earth had yet to gain a Moon, and it struck Will as odd that no-one had thought to build one. In fact, the other Cutting Familiaritythinking too hard:

Autumnal TownSummer drifts away
like a flower on the ocean
Pack away the bikinis
swimsuits and sun lotion
The lush green leaves
slowly start to fade
and drift to the ground
removing the shade
From bright and vibrant
to crispy and brown
Summer is leaving us
An Autumnal town.
